Online ‘Life’ is kinda funny

If you have a website or a blog, no doubt you experience some of the same things i do. Questions like:

“Does anyone even read these posts?”

“Am I having a positive impact on others?”

“Does anyone even care?”

Online ‘life’ can be a lonely adventure, for sure. Years ago, clear instruction came from the inner voice (God) telling me to delete all Facebook from my life. That was a very wise move for this soul! I do believe for those of us more sensitive to others; more prone to empathy; more negatively influenced, social media can be injurious.

The eyes being the ‘windows to the soul,’ what we see can profoundly influence how we think and feel. We used to sing Sunday school songs like ‘be careful little eyes what you see, be careful little ears what you hear…be careful little mouth what you say. Perhaps as adults it would be smart to sing it again and carefully monitor how we navigate this new reality of online ‘life.’ Let’s add a verse…be careful little fingers what  you type. 🙂

Is anyone reading this post? Do these thoughts have a positive impact? Does anyone out there even care?

See, even without the influence of Facebook, this writer can become discouraged! 🙂

So, if you are reading this, do respond. Just humor me a bit. You can encourage me, and perhaps in turn something written here will encourage YOU!
